Sunflowers and Changing Leaves Fertilizer Friday

It's Fertilizer Friday and everyone is flaunting their flowers so when ya get done here be sure to hop on over to Tootsies place at the bottom and see what she and everyone else is up to.
I finally have sunflowers! I started them in milk jugs in February but maybe I didn't take them out of the jugs soon enough because everyone else has had giants for quite some time now. O'well, I have them so that's all that matters.

This is my Rose of Sharon Minerva. She's never grown more than 2 feet tall but always
has beautiful blooms. I think she's small because of tree roots close by so
we're going to move her and see if she won't finally grow up.

The Hardy Lobelia that some critter chewed up is blooming. I really didn't think it
was going to.

Some little violas that are a pretty pink. How nice since all of the others are
always purple.

Thats all I have for flowers but thought I'd show some of the leaves changing that I
saw on the way back from town yesterday. This is such a pretty part of the drive
home. Changing leaves and a kazillion ferns.

But this is my favorite part - the dark mossy covered trees and a little color from
leaves nearby.

The Rest Of What's Blooming

As promised on Fertilizer Friday I had so many flowers still blooming I'd show the rest in a few days. Guess I'd best do that before they are all gone. Many of these just have a small bloom left but are still blooming even if not at their showiest!
Some Babys Breath that showed up on my bank one day. Of course it's far too big there and I've been going to move it for a couple of years and haven't gotten around to it.

Dianthus

Viola
Germander

Malva Zebrina

Linaria

I can't believe this small Abelia Edward Goucher I started has little blooms - the
big one we move last fall didn't bloom this year. It's probably still getting
settled in, or it's not getting enough sun.

Knautia

Hardy Bachelor Button, I dug this one up, tired of looking at it.

Mum

Speedwell Red Fox

Viola Johnny Jump Up

Snapdragon

Garden Phlox

Another Garden Phlox

And one last one plus a Dandelion for character

Blue Lacecap Hydrangea

Double Rose Of Sharon

Oops wrong place, my Hydrangea on it's way out still looking pretty as a
different color.

A little Primrose I never planted.

More beautiful Snapdragons.
And more, I seem to love Snapdragons more all the time. They bloom non stop all
summer.
Coneflower Doppleganger
Hydrangea Buttons 'n' Bows

Pink Hydrangea, don't know the name.
One of Bob's miniaure climbing roses - that desperately need a place to climb.

Coneflower Magnus

The pretty white Rose I just got Bob at an estate sale. It needed a good home!

The gorgeous yellow Rose that Doris gave him.

One of my many Campanulas that are all blooming.

The Ice Plant is FINALLY blooming, pretty late this yer.

The pretty little white Cyclamen the neighbor gave me is blooming. It is so
delicate. Now the beautiful leaves are starting to show. I'll have to take a
picture of them later.
