More Bloomin' Flowers

I have so many flowers blooming right now I decided I'd best do
it in 2 posts. I can't believe I'm posting 2 days in a row! I explained a while
back how I've been so busy working outside I haven't had time to blog or hardly
visit anyone. I really miss it! How am I going to continue to learn if I can't
run around visiting your posts? I've also had some Doctors appointments in the
city (1 1/2 hours drive) and decided while I'm there I should do some shopping
to find something to wear for the class reunion I have coming up. Ug - a shopper I aint!
I'm not even doing Fertilizer Friday today because it wouldn't be fair to join in and then not go visit the whole list. Now that it's too hot for me to go outside I've got to do some work in the house before Bob trades me in on a new model. One that does something besides work out in the flowers all day long (weather permitting).

White Campanula, that I got from Doris' place and is it ever tall.
Purple Campanula
Campanula Blue Waterfall
Campanula Cherry Bells
This is the Yarrow that Sweet Bay sent me and it's just a beautiful bright pinkish
purple color. It's already making new plants so I'll be able to put it
everywhere to enjoy next year. I know Sweet Bay is taking a much needed break
from blogging right now but I still wanted to put a link to her blog. But when I
did for some reason I lost this whole post and had to start over again. Not
going there again . . .
Barberry Rosy Glow
Dianthus
Clematis Jackmanii
Lychnis Rose Campion
I got 2 primitive benches from Doris so I decided to set one out in the
'monster' garden with some of my more primitive containers on and around it. I
think it looks kind of cute. Now to find a home for the other one. They are
surrounded by Liatris, Siberian Irises and Soapwort which tries to take over the
whole bed and that's how it got the name 'monster' garden.

Clematis Josephine Blooming For Fertilizer Friday

It's Fertilizer Friday and everyone is flaunting their flowers so when ya get
done here be sure to link over to Tootsies place from the bottom of my page and
see what she and everyone else is up to.
Today the star of my show is Clematis Josephine. First, because she is so beautiful with her huge pom pom in the center and second, because last year we thought we lost her after her move
the year before. Now I'm thinking maybe she's going to be happy here after
all.
I showed one of the Peony blooms but now more have opened so I'm showing it
again. The pink ones haven't opened yet.
Red Valerian is getting ready for it's all summer show. It just keeps giving and
giving.
I think my new Lilac, the dwarf Miss Kim is opened completely up now. She looks
pretty with the lavendar Siberian Irises behind her.
Heuchera Snow Angel is getting ready to bloom. I discovered this one in Tina's garden.
The Bleeding Hearts are barely blooming and later than everyone elses as usual, even
my neighbors. It will be moved in the fall to a happier home.
Columbine Cardinal Song.
Not sure who this Columbine is but it's frilly and dainty.
Hardy Geranium
Snow In Summer with some Dianthus behind it.
One of the Verbascums.
A pink Lupine this week is on the way.
My Columbine that blooms 2 different colors.
The clumps of little wild Irises pop up all over my woodland garden and some along
the edges of the yard.

I've seen black Lithodora all over our county. That cold week we had tried to kill it
off for everyone but black or not it still bloomed and is turning green now.

It's Fertilizer Friday . . . Flaunt Your Flowers!

It's Fertilizer Friday - let's see what's blooming . . .
It's Fertilizer Friday so be sure to go over and visit our hostess Tootsie and see what's blooming in everyone's gardens after fertilizing every Friday! Join in on the fun while you're there too.I just got this Beauty Berry Profusion less than a month ago and it needed some TLC and it has little berries on it already. I was really surprised!
This is another Campanula I have. It's a small one about 10" tall but the bloom is big like my tall Peachleaf. It's called Carpathian Harebell Blue Chips.
I believe this is Clematis Jackmanii - it was given to us and blooms like crazy.
Hot pink Ice Plant - Delosperma something.
The Lilies are blooming - they made it without a nibble!!!

A new dark one - I did a swap with the neighbor and she didn't know the name of it. A beautiful dark one.

Lychness

Malva Zebrina or known as a small Hollyhock
Red Hot Pokers
My bloomin' stairs filled with Wolley Thyme didn't bloom in every stair. Hmmm what to do. I have another set on the other side of the yard. We lined them up with the 2 stairways coming off of the deck for easier access to the upper yard.

Fertilizer Friday - Flaunt Those Flowers!

Begonias sitting on a stepping stone that my Grandson made for me. More Begonias in my old tool box planter. The Lobelia must be on steroids - it's almost got the Begonias covered up.

Would you believe my Bleeding Hearts are still blooming? They never do that. Are yours?

The Callas are starting to open
They are so pretty with a matching Hosta
Cardinal Song Columbine is blooming again but looks smaller and different than before.
This is the Columbine I was checking every day waiting to open when the deer wiped it out. It finally bloomed again but no pink bloom with it this time. It's also a lot smaller.
Another Columbine is re blooming. Strange because this one is in the hottest place of all my Columbines. I thought they liked more shade.
